Taryn Hunter

Taryn Hunter is a Chief Deputy District Attorney at the Napa County District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor in Napa for over a decade, she has handled a wide-range of cases in the county, including family violence, human trafficking, and crimes against children. Taryn was born and raised in Napa. She earned an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of California Berkeley and a law degree from the University of California Law, San Francisco. She and her husband live in Napa where they are raising their twins and two dogs.  

She joined the Child Start Board for the opportunity to support and strengthen our community’s children and families. As the mother of two young children, she knows the impact of child care services and hopes to further Child Start’s programs, services, and partnerships.
