Julie McClure

Julie McClure serves as the Associate Superintendent of the Napa County Office of Education (NCOE) and in that role oversees all student programs, including Early Childhood Services. NCOE’s Early Childhood Services includes a wide variety of programs serving young children and families. Like Child Start, these programs focus on Napa County’s highest communities and provide early education/preparation for entrance into school as well as childcare and development services. Programs include the California State Preschool Program, Napa Infant Preschool Program, Early Childhood Special Education, Quality Rating Improvement System Block Grants (Quality Counts Napa County), and Napa County Childcare Planning and Development Council. 

Julie has over two decades of experience developing and implementing education programs and attaining federal, state, and local resources to address academic and social-emotional needs to promote the success of all students.  Julie joined the Child Start Board to collaborate with and support this agency that provides children and families essential services when they need it most. In her role overseeing Early Childhood Education programs for the County, she knows the vital role that Child Start plays in our community.
