By Child Start, Inc Debbie brings 15 years of executive experience with the agency to her new role as Executive Director. Debbie and her husband Pete live in Napa and are very familiar and involved with the Napa and Solano Communities. Prior to her employment with Child Start, Debbie served as the District Representative to Assembly Member Valerie Brown. Child Start is the non-profit agency funded to operate the Early Head Start, Head Start, and Raising A Reader programs. The Agency provides comprehensive educationally based services to 1171 children and their families in Napa and Solano Counties. Child Start works in partnership with other local agencies to provide new and expanded services in the areas of nutrition, health, child care and development, literacy, education, family support, disabilities, mental health, parent education and teacher training. These partnerships, parent involvement, and community support are major factors in the continuing success of all Child Start programs.
