Associate Teacher

12 mo/yr 40 hrs/wk.  Provide support to the Head Teacher in implementing a multilingual, multicultural program which facilitates optimum delivery of services to Head Start or Early Head Start children and families. Responsible for facilitating the emotional, cognitive and social development of Head Start children by implementing relationship-based, developmentally appropriate program services. 

Must have demonstrated ability to:
            1. Build and maintain trusting relationships with infants, toddlers and families. 
            2. Work independently and as a team member.  
            3. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Must have knowledge of, and experience with:
            1. Implementation of infant/toddler child development programs.
            2. Working with children with disabilities (strongly preferred). 
            3. Americans with Disabilities Act (desirable). 

Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator

40hrs/week.  Responsible for coordination, implementation and maintenance of various human resources programs and services, including recruitment and orientation of new hires, HRIS, employee communication and compliance.  Ensures provision of complete and accurate information on time.

Site Supervisor (Solano County)

Responsible for supervision and oversight of Head Start classrooms to support staff in delivery of services in keeping with Head Start Performance Standards and State Licensing.  Responsible for implementation of family services at the site level. This is an exempt position at a FD/FY site with a starting salary of $3003.00/month; Benefits available. 
Minimum qualifications include:

Teacher 3 (Napa and Solano Counties)

Provides assistance to the Teachers with planning, preparation and implementation of curriculum, screening and assessment of all children.  Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 yrs old and have a valid Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or be eligible to obtain one at the time of hire.  (This qualification is generally met with 12 ECE units, including core courses or a Child Development Associate credential (CDA must be earned in California).

Original (or certified) copies of all credentials or certificates and college transcripts indicating applicable coursework will be required as a condition of employment.  This is a non-exempt, 40 hrs/week position with a starting salary of $9.94/hr.  Benefits available. This is a union represented position.
