Job Title: Teacher 1

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Period of Employment: Year Round

Hours: 40 hrs/ week

Program/Department: Head Start Full Day Full Year

Benefits: Medical, dental, 401k, paid time off, college tuition assistance towards AA degree in ECE.

Salary: $15.75 - $20.10 DOE

Qualifications: AA or BA degree in ECE/ Child Development or related degree.

3 units Admin SupervisionAND 2 years teaching experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program

Original (or certified copies) of all credentials or certificates and college transcripts indicating applicable coursework to meet requirements of position as a condition of employment.

Bilingual Spanish/ English preferred

Program/Department: Head Start Part Day Part Year

Benefits: Medical, dental, 401k, paid time off, college tuition assistance towards AA degree in ECE.

Salary: $11.17 per hour

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old.

12 units ECE Core Courses (Child Development, Curriculum, and Child, Family & Community) or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential must be earned in CA.
